Author Mark Laxer and songwriter Eric Maring proudly announce the first launch event of their joint book and CD project, The Monkey Bible, with companion musical The Line. The Monkey Bible Project's mission is to explore the line that separates humans from nonhuman animals; to promote the acceptance of racial, religious, and bio diversity; and to encourage scientific and religious communities to work together to protect the countless creatures on the tree of life, upon which all human life depends. The project includes a novel, companion music CD, a staged musical, and more!
